Le positionnement du programme

Le Bachelor in International Business, ou BIB, est un programme en trois ans, dispensé en anglais à Lille et à Paris, conférant 180 crédits ECTS et le grade de licence.

Il s’adresse à des candidats qui recherchent :

• une formation plus courte que le PGE ;
• un environnement entièrement anglophone ;
• une orientation internationale immédiate ;
• une insertion professionnelle possible après trois ans ;
• la possibilité de poursuivre ensuite en master, sous réserve d’admission.

Bien distinguer le BIB du PGE

Aucun programme n’est « meilleur » en toute circonstance. Le choix dépend du niveau de maturité, du projet, de la durée souhaitée, du budget, du rapport à l’anglais et de la volonté de poursuivre ou non jusqu’à bac+5.

L’entretien BIB pour les candidats Parcoursup

La page opérationnelle consacrée aux oraux présente un entretien de 30 minutes.

Cette précision linguistique est importante. La page générale du programme peut donner l’impression d’un entretien systématiquement en anglais, tandis que la page détaillée des admissibles distingue la langue selon le sous-vœu Parcoursup. La convocation du candidat reste la référence.

“I am applying to the BIB because I want an international business education from the first year, rather than treating international exposure as a later option. I am particularly interested in learning in English and working with classmates whose academic and cultural references differ from mine.

The three-year structure also suits my current project. I want to build strong foundations in management, gain professional experience and then make an informed decision between entering the job market and pursuing a specialized master’s degree.

Une formation hybride

Ce Bachelor associe l’IÉSEG et RUBIKA. Il combine management, technologies et design, dans un cursus de trois ans en anglais, déployé entre la France et le Canada.

Le profil recherché

Le programme n’exige pas nécessairement que le candidat soit déjà designer, développeur ou entrepreneur. Il doit toutefois démontrer une curiosité active pour plusieurs univers :

• technologie ;
• usages numériques ;
• conception de produits ou services ;
• créativité ;
• management ;
• résolution de problèmes ;
• collaboration interdisciplinaire.

Le CV portfolio

Le CV demandé en anglais peut inclure des liens vers :

• projets numériques ;
• vidéos ;
• créations graphiques ;
• prototypes ;
• sites ;
• comptes GitHub ;
• travaux scolaires ;
• projets associatifs ;
• objets conçus ;
• publications ou présentations.

Un candidat sans portfolio artistique peut présenter une démarche de résolution de problème : une automatisation, une enquête utilisateur, un projet d’événement, une maquette, une expérience scientifique, une chaîne vidéo ou une initiative entrepreneuriale.

L’entretien avec les directions académiques

L’entretien se déroule en ligne et vise à vérifier :

• la compréhension du caractère hybride du programme ;
• le niveau d’anglais ;
• la curiosité technologique ;
• la capacité à collaborer avec des profils différents ;
• la qualité des projets présentés ;
• l’autonomie ;
• le réalisme du projet international.

“I am interested in this Bachelor because most useful innovations are not created by one discipline alone. A technically impressive product can fail if users do not understand it, while an attractive design can remain irrelevant without a viable business model.

During [project], I worked on [problem]. I was mainly responsible for [role], but I realized that I lacked methods for understanding users and testing assumptions. The combination of management, technology and design would help me move from intuitive ideas to structured experimentation.

I am also attracted by the international dimension, but I understand that mobility is not tourism. It requires academic discipline, adaptation and the ability to collaborate across different working cultures.”
